Who we are
We’re a fledgling nonprofit working to heal, protect, and restore North Carolina’s native biodiversity. Our focus is twofold: rehabilitating injured or orphaned native songbirds so they can return to the wild, and conserving native orchids and carnivorous plants through habitat-first stewardship, ethical propagation, and education.
Right now, we’re in our start-up phase—developing facilities, securing required permits and certifications, and building partnerships with local experts, landowners, and agencies. Until we’re fully authorized, we aren’t accepting public bird intakes or donations. Thank you for your patience as we lay a careful, compliant foundation for long-term impact.

We follow peer-reviewed science and professional standards, document outcomes, and continuously improve our methods. For birds, that means vet-guided rehabilitation protocols and release criteria. For plants, it means ethical, disease-free propagation and habitat-appropriate conservation methods—always measured, always improving.
